I have a Level 2 Qualification; can I use that for the MOT Course?
All potential MOT Testers have to be qualified to Level 3 or equivalent. Some older qualifications up to level 2 are accepted.

I have 4 years experience in the Motor Trade but it was when I lived abroad. Does it still count towards eligibility?
Depending on the level of work experience you gained you can declare it as relevant experience, if you do not hold any qualifications, you can complete our Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Course where we will be able to assess your skill level and you can gain an accreditation which is accepted on for the MOT scheme (Car Only).
I have 4 years of work experience as a technician although I spent some time at college, does it still count?
I’m banned from Driving; can I still take the course?
I haven’t tested recently and am looking at returning to testing. How do I return to testing?
Do I need any Mechanical experience to become an MOT Manager?
No. All you must declare is that you are free from convictions and be of good repute as defined by the DVSA.
Can I complete the DVSA Demonstration Test at your Training Facility?
