Our Light Vehicle Inspection course is the ideal starting point for those aiming to become certified MOT Testers. Designed for technicians involved in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing light vehicles, this course caters to both experienced professionals and those new to the field. For seasoned technicians, we offer a streamlined 1-day assessment option. Alternatively, for those beginning their automotive career or with limited experience, we provide a comprehensive 3-day course.

Throughout the program, you’ll cover key modules, including emissions testing, electrical system inspection, brakes, steering and suspension evaluation, as well as complete vehicle assessments and appraisal techniques. The training takes place in our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest diagnostic and testing tools.

Upon completing the course, you’ll be equipped with the essential skills and knowledge needed to conduct thorough vehicle inspections. With your ATA or VTAA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation in hand, you’ll be ready to take the next step towards earning your MOT Tester License. To continue your training, consider our Class 4 & 7 course.

Course Length:

1 Day (Assessment only) or 3 Days (Training & Assessment)

Course Eligibility:

Technicians must have at least 4 years of full-time experience to ensure they are skilled in vehicle servicing, inspection, and system diagnosis. Based on your experience, you will be required to complete either a 1-day or 3-day course. A pre-assessment will be conducted to determine which course is the most appropriate for you.
